HOW TO WASH YOUR WHEELS
- Supplies:
- Hose
- Clean rinse bucket
- Tyre brush or wash mitt
- Microfibre cloth
- Wheel cleaner
- Wheel shampoo
- Rinse: Thoroughly rinse wheels with high pressure to remove brake dust. Don’t just use water; you need soap for lubrication to avoid scratches.
- Cleaner: Avoid acidic tire cleaners as they can damage the clear coat. Use a neutral pH wheel cleaning agent. Spray on, follow directions, and scrub if necessary with a dedicated wheel brush. Rinse off after cleaning.
- Shampoo: Shampoo the wheels to remove cleaner residues. Avoid wax products if you have a ceramic wheel coating. Rinse until water runs clear and dry with a microfibre cloth.
- Tips:

- Use an iron and fallout remover before shampooing.
